Actionable comments are the comments where an action is suggested using a 'Tag' on the comment. The main purpose of categorizing comments as actionable is to give your team a direct and filtered route to comments that need to be replied or reacted to very efficiently. This will remove the need to browse through all comments manually, which can be taxing to a social care team.
For example, if a user comments over a post of unsweetened flavored water - “gave the flavored water a try. Nothing special. No taste. Just plain water basically. Unfortunately will not be ordering again."
This shows that comment sentiment is moderately negative, the intent is no flavor, and also the customer is not happy with the product. Now a brand can take an action to hide comments that are tagged 'No Flavor.'

We don’t show comment threads and therefore each comment is considered unique. If a comment within a thread qualifies, we will tag that comment and move it to the Actionable tab.
