Add Profile Picture, Category & Business Description, Green tick on your WhatsApp Business Account.

Step1: Navigate to WhatsApp Manager via your Business Manager. In the Overview section, select "Phone Numbers," then click on the settings icon for the phone number that requires verification.

Step 2: Under section Phone numbers, select Profile and click on the button "Submit request"





Step 3: Requesting an Official Business Account

Follow these instructions to request an official business account:

•  Access WhatsApp Manager from your Business Manager. In the Overview section, click on the phone number for which you want to request an Official Business Account.
• Click on the Submit Request button and fill out the required information.
• You can submit up to five supporting links, especially from renowned publications (e.g., India Today, Economic Times, Wall Street Journal, Reuters, Wikipedia, Business Insider), to show that the business is notable. This helps us determine notability.
• Fields like Country(s) of operation, parent business or brand (especially if it is a well-known brand), and primary language help WhatsApp to understand your brand and eligibility for an Official Business Account.

While filling out the information, follow the points noted on the screen:

Note: The request is reviewed by WhatsApp. You will receive a notification letting you know if your account has been granted Official Business Account status or not. If your request is denied, you can submit a new request after 30 days. Once the request is approved, a green check mark will appear on your profile information.

Note: You can upload a profile picture under 'Profile Photo,' add a category, and provide a business description from the WhatsApp Manager as shown below. These changes will be reflected in the WhatsApp platform/chat.
