WhatsApp Business Account Registration (WABA) via Amplify dashboard.

Prerequisites:
Business Phone Number:

(i)Before starting the new WABA registration process, it's recommended to have the phone number ready for use.
To be eligible for registration, business phone numbers must be:
1. owned by you/client.
2. have a country and area code.
3. able to receive voice calls or SMS.

(ii)Numbers already in use with the WhatsApp Messenger app or WhatsApp Business app cannot be registered unless they are deleted first.

Business Information:
(i)Have the business information ready for later completion, including details such as the business name, category, location, city, etc.

Steps: 

1. Go to the Amplify Pro Dashboard, select the account where the WhatsApp bot needs to be deployed. Now, choose the 'Bots' option as shown in the picture below.

2. Select the bot that needs to be deployed, then click on the "Deploy" button as indicated.



3. In the next screen, you have to select the platform. In this case, we have to select WhatsApp. Click on "Continue" to proceed.



4. Since we are looking to register a new WABA (WhatsApp Business Account), click on the second button labeled 'Create new WABA or phone number'.

5. Connect the Facebook page to the Amplify dashboard. Click on the Login button. Amplify requires Facebook access for private and public replies to users via automation.



6. Click on the 'Continue' button as shown. This will assist in logging into the existing Facebook account that can be associated with the WhatsApp Business phone number in the future.


7. Grant permission to Amplify by clicking on 'Get Started'. This allows Amplify to send WhatsApp templates and messages to users. Other permissions related to billing and business portfolios are also granted to Amplify. This helps Amplify track the campaign.



8. We establish the business portfolio here. Fill in the business information as requested. We can create a maximum of 2 business portfolios on a single number. Provide the necessary business-related information as asked.
Note: Meta Business Account, sometimes referred to as Business Manager account or simply Business account, is being renamed to business portfolio. [Meta Business Account IDs (business portfolio IDs)]




9. In this step, select "Create a WhatsApp Business Account" and "Create a new WhatsApp Business Profile and click on "Next" button.



10. Here, we need to update WhatsApp Business Account details. Both the WABA Name and WABA Display Name must match, followed by selecting an appropriate business category. Below is described as an example of a movie titled "Fighter: The Movie" in the selected category "Entertainment."



11. The next screen appears, where we have to enter the phone number to be used for the WhatsApp Business Account, then verify it with OTP via text message or phone call. Click on the "Next" button to receive the OTP from the selected options.



This marks the completion of WhatsApp Business Account registration.
