Please follow below steps to setup Click to subscribe Ads :
1. As a first step create a Marketing Messaging module/topic which is a part of a messenger experience in the Amplify pro dashboard BEFORE you start setting up the Click to Subscribe Ad campaign in Ads Manager.
The ad campaign creation in Ads Manager will pull in the opt-in invitation from the topic as a an option at the ad set level in order to associate the ad with the MM for marketing messages.
2. Once you have successfully created the topic in Amplify dashboard , proceed by creating a Ad campaign in Ads Manager as similar to CTM by clicking on green button that says create.
3. Click to Subscribe are only available under the Engagement objective. So please select Engagement option.
4. Click Next button to proceed on next tab.
5. Select Messaging Apps in conversion and scroll down to Ad type where you need to select Click to message from drop down menu.
Please note : Click to Subscribe Ads are delivery optimised for opt-ins.
6. Post which ensure Messenger is selected as the Messaging App at the ad set level and Click Next.
6. On next window Setup the Ad and update the Ad creative as required and scroll down to Call to Action section at the next window and Click on drop down menu.Here you can select the message as per your choice.By default Send message is selected however we would advise you to select the name "Sign Up" or "Subscribe".
7. Scroll down to Message Template option and select Send Marketing Messages.
8. Click on Edit option on Send Marketing Messages. Post which you will be able to see a window where you will get an option to edit a Welcome message and under Opt-in request section you can select the topic which you have created in step 1 in the messenger experience. Once selected the topic you will be able to see a preview of the same on right side. Refer below screenshot. Click on save and Hit Publish and you are good to go.
