Question 1: What is the difference between Ads that Click to Subscribe and Ads that Click to Message?
Answer : Ads that Click to Subscribe show the Recurring Notifications opt-in invitation immediately after the user clicks on the ad without an app switch from Facebook to Messenger. This user flow is more streamlined to emphasize the opt-in invitation than through Ads that Click to Message. Ads that Click to Subscribe are also delivery optimized for opt-ins. This means the ad is meant to reach users who are more likely to opt-in and to deliver more efficient cost per opt-in than other ad types.
To drive opt-ins at scale, we recommend using Ads that Click to Subscribe with Recurring Notifications.
Question 2 : Where do advertisers purchase and set up Ads that Click to Subscribe?
Answer: Ads that Click to Subscribe are available in Ads Manager and Marketing API. Ads that Click to Subscribe are available under the Engagement objective.
Question 3 : Are Ads that Click to Subscribe available for Recurring Notifications on Instagram?
Answer: Ads that Click to Subscribe will be shown in the Facebook feed and drive opt-ins to Recurring Notifications on Messenger.For IG CTS is still not available.
