To create a campaign, follow these steps:
1. Click the green "+ Create" button in the Campaigns tab of your Ads Manager.
2. Select "Engagement" as your campaign objective under the Consideration tab.
3. Click "Continue" to proceed.
4. A screen pops up; select "Manual Engagement Campaign" and click "Continue"
5. Add a campaign name. Additionally, you will see options like Special Ad Categories and controls for the campaign budget. Click "Next"
6. You will see the Ad Set Name option on the page. Update the name in the tab below.
- Select "Message destinations" from drop down menu under Conversion.
7. Select the Facebook page from drop down menu under accounts tab and choose WhatsApp from Messaging Apps and click on "Next"
Note:
a) We can change the WhatsApp number. To do this, click on "Connect Another Number".
b) Scroll down to select Performance goal | Budget & schedule.
c) Scroll down to work on "Audience controls".
d) Scroll down and hit "Next".
8. In the next screen choose the ad name and select the respective Facebook and Instagram account ad is associated.
a) Under Ad setup, choose the right creative format single image/video or carousel.
b) Under Ad Creative, update the following information for the ads.
9. Scroll down and click on create new under Message Template and select Edit option under Greeting.
10. On the new screen, under the Greetings tab, select Text and update the greeting message you wish to present to your users. Then, select Frequently Asked Questions and update the required text for Question #1. Once the user sends this, the chat will initiate.
Note: Remove other questions under Frequently asked questions and click on "Save"
11. When you are done filling in all the above information, click Publish.
User Experience :
When the user clicks or taps on the send message, they will be taken to a conversation with your business on WhatsApp.
