Overview
In Natural Language processing an intent or user intent captures a user’s intention expressed through sentences. For example, if a user comments "I want to buy tickets to a concert," the AI engine is trained to return 'Buy Tickets' intent or "I need some help with this product! please help" could generate 'customer support' intent and so on.
Intent Training
We label intents (eg "I want to buy the product") and we provide our system with multiple training samples. Our system does some statistical analysis and should identify the correct intent when reading fresh inputs (eg "I'd buy that product" should "look" like "I want to buy the product").

Top Intents
Top intents refer to the user intents detected by Amplify's AI engine while processing comments on your Facebook Page or Instagram Account. We organize these by frequency over a period of time (Today, Yesterday, last 7 days, last 14 days or last 30 days) and show you the top 10 on the dashboard. You can expand the list by tapping '+10 more' if you like to view more.
