When manually hiding comments, some of our users have experienced the following error:

This error of "Action failed: hide" occurs when reviewing comments that have been filtered through Facebook or Twitter's native profanity filter. That is, when Facebook or Twitter's profanity filter is on, the comment will still be seen by Amplify but will have already been filtered. We recommend turning off the profanity filter on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter as Amplify offers a more advanced profanity filter. This would also eliminate the error of "Action failed: hide."
Facebook's profanity filter can be found in page settings under general:
If you choose to leave on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter profanity filters, you will continue to see this error for comments that have already been filtered by the social media site. In that case, the offending comment will already be hidden by the social media site itself, and do not need to be hidden again. In that case, you can click "review" on the Amplify dashboard so that your colleagues understand that the comment has been dealt with.
